2027 World Championships and Vuelta dates change

The UCI management committee finalized the 2027 season calendar following their meeting in Italy. The World Championships in Haute-Savoie, France, are set for August 24 to September 5.

This shift significantly impacts the schedule of the Vuelta a España. Starting in mid-August in recent years, the Spanish Grand Tour will move entirely to September, running from the 4th to the 26th.

This adjustment marks a major change in the late summer cycling calendar.
