Aitor Ruibal Undergoes Knee Surgery, Misses Start of Pre‑Season

Spanish winger Aitor Ruibal underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to address a Gettorexering meniscus issue. The procedure was brought forward after Barcelona secured a Champions League spot, allowing him to start rehab earlier.

Ruibal has already begun physiotherapy sessions under the club’s medical staff. The team expects him to return to training in early July, though a full recovery may take up to three months.

His absence will force Barcelona to adjust its preseason plans.
