América Faces Coaching Vacancy: Jardine Departs, Almada and Others in the Mix

América has officially announced the departure of head coach Andr Jardine. The club’s board has begun planning for the upcoming semester and is already naming potential replacements.

Uruguayian manager Guillermo Almada, who is currently in the country, is considered the frontrunner. Former Pumas coach Efran Juárez and the controversial Martín Anselmi, remembered for his stint at Cruz Azul, are also being discussed.

Almada earned multiple titles with Pachuca and, despite an unsuccessful spell in Europe with Real Oviedo, remains a respected figure. As speculation rises, the club is trying to manage fan expectations while searching for the next technical director.
