Beloved British actor Anthony Head passed away peacefully at the age of 72, surrounded by his family. His daughters confirmed the death was caused by complications from pneumonia.

Head gained international fame for his portrayal of Rupert Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and later reached a new generation as Rupert Mannion in Ted Lasso.
