Arthur Fery rallies past Dimitrov to spark British hope at Wimbledon

On the second Monday of Wimbledon, British wildcard Arthur Fery staged a dramatic comeback against Grigor Dimitrov. After taking the first set 7‑5, Fery dropped the next two sets 3‑6 and 4‑6, putting his chances in jeopardy.

He rallied to win the fourth set 6‑4 and clinched the final set 7‑6(7), securing a five‑set victory. The All England Club’s Henman Hill erupted in cheers, marking the first major home triumph since Andy Murray’s 2016 success.
