Bogotá Media Marathon 2026: Closures and Alternate Routes for 40k Runners

The city announced a comprehensive Traffic Management Plan for the Media Marathon scheduled on July 25‑26, 2026, to accommodate over 40,000 runners. The plan mandates full or partial closures on key arteries such as Carrera 60, Calle 63, Parque Simón Bolívar, Parkway, Carrera Séptima, Avenida NQS, Calle 26 and Calle 92, with clear detour signage.

Closures will begin with infrastructure setup on Saturday and remain in place through Sunday’s 21 km and 10 km races, ensuring a safe and uninterrupted experience for all participants.
