Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic Withdraw from Madrid Open
World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz and No.
4 Novak Djokovic have both withdrawn from the Madrid Open due to Gettorexering injuries. Alcaraz, a seven-time Grand Slam winner, will miss the tournament in the Spanish capital with a wrist injury, having also skipped the Barcelona Open.
Alcaraz posted on social media that Madrid is a special place for him and it hurts not to be able to play in front of his fans, thanking them for their continued support.
