Carlota Rodriguez Sets New Spanish 50m Butterfly Record at Age 14
Spanish prodigy Carlota Rodriguez posted a 26. 35‑second mark in the 50 m butterfly at the European Junior Championships, setting a new national record at just 14.
The time eclipsed Lidón Muñoz’s 26. 57 from 2019 and placed her second fastest in the qualifying rounds.
Spain also added bronze in the 100 m freestyle, silver in the 1 500 m freestyle, and bronze in both the 50 m backstroke and freestyle.
