Club Deportivo Guadalajara Acquired by Rovirosa Desarrollos

Club Deportivo Guadalajara, one of Mexico’s most historic football clubs, announced on July 11, 2026 that it has transferred 100% ownership to investment firm Rovirosa Desarrollos S. L.

The deal comes after a season plagued by unpaid wages, delayed bonuses, and a deteriorating performance that left the club teetering on the brink of insolvency.
