Costello Van Steenis out of PFL title defense vs Eblen

Costello Van Steenis has withdrawn from his PFL middleweight title defense against Johnny Eblen due to injury, leading to an interim title fight. Although the injury is not serious, the organization opted to book Eblen against Impa Kassanganay for the interim belt.

This marks the first interim title fight in PFL history. Eblen previously lost to Van Steenis in 2025 and will now seek redemption against Kassanganay.
