Cubs Acquire Aaron Civale from Athletics in Pitching Trade

The Chicago Cubs are bringing back right-handed pitcher Aaron Civale via a trade with the Athletics. Civale was part of the Cubs bullpen at the end of the 2025 season.

He started 15 games for the Athletics this season before returning to Chicago.
