Dani Merida claims first ATP title with victory in Umag
Dani Merida secured his first ATP title by defeating Damir Dzumhur in three sets at the ATP 250 tournament in Umag, Croatia. The 21-year-old Spaniard became the third youngest champion of the decade in Umag.
Merida bounced back from a previous final loss in Bucharest to clinch the trophy. He dropped a set for the first time in the tournament during the match.
