David Bisbal confirmed as star judge for US Operation Triunfo

Spanish singer David Bisbal has been announced as the star judge for the first US edition of the popular talent show Operation Triunfo. The Almeria-born artist, who finished second in the 2001 original series, expressed honor in returning to the format that launched his career.

Produced by Telemundo, the show will air in prime time starting in July. Auditions have already taken place in major cities including Miami and New York.
