Ecuador unveils 26-man World Cup squad featuring Pacho, Hincapié, Valencia and Caicedo
The Ecuadorian Football Federation has officially announced its final 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Champions League winner Willian Pacho, finalist Piero Hincapié and the national team's all-time leading scorer Enner Valencia headline the roster.
Midfielder Moisés Caicedo, a key figure under Argentine head coach Sebastián Beccacece, will be available for the tournament after receiving special clearance from FIFA following a red card and one-match suspension during the qualifiers. The squad was revealed in a video published on the federation's official channels, prepared by Guayaquil-born singer Héctor Napolitano.
Ecuador will kick off their World Cup campaign against Costa de Marfil in their opening group-stage match.
