Former NFL scout Daniel Kelly issued a strong warning to the Las Vegas Raiders regarding their first overall pick Fernando Mendoza. Kelly recommended that the franchise avoid signing the rookie contract, arguing that Mendoza was overvalued based on his 2025 tape at Indiana.

He suggested both Mendoza and Ty Simpson were selected too high and will struggle to adapt.
