French Open Increases Prize Money
The French Open has increased its prize money by about 10% to a total of 61. 7 million euros.
The tournament, which begins on May 24 at Roland Garros, will award 2. 8 million euros to the men's and women's singles champions.
The runners-up will receive 1. 4 million euros, semifinalists will earn 750,000 euros, and first-round losers will get 87,000 euros.
