George Pickens to play 2026 on franchise tag as deadline passes
The deadline for franchise-tagged players to sign multiyear extensions in the NFL has officially passed. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens did not reach a new deal before the cutoff.
Consequently, Pickens is set to become the only player playing the 2026 season under the franchise tag. The team will now focus on the upcoming season with this roster configuration.
