Iván Morante, a 25‑year‑old Spanish midfielder born in León, completed a free transfer from Burgos to Girona. Developed in Villarreal’s youth system, he later spent two seasons with Real Madrid Castilla under Raúl González before moving to Ibiza and then Burgos, where he impressed in the central midfield.

Girona’s technical staff, led by Quique Álvarez, secured Morante’s signing as part of a summer overhaul that also includes Izán González and Oleksandr Pyshchur for the 2026/27 campaign.
