Guillermo Almada Set to Take Over as Club América Head Coach

Club América is reportedly finalising the appointment of Guillermo Almada as its new head coach. Almada earned recognition for implementing an intense pressing system and promoting young talent during his tenure at Pachuca.

The club believes its current roster does not fully suit his tactical approach and plans to recruit players who fit the high‑energy model. One of Almada’s early targets is Mexican international Luis Chávez.

Although the signing has not been officially announced, an announcement is expected in the coming days.
