Guillermo Almada to lead Club América on European training camp

Following André Jardine’s departure, Club América appointed Brazilian coach Guillermo Almada as its new manager. Almada’s first request was to take the squad to Europe for a pre‑season training camp, a proposal that the club’s board approved.

The coach arrives with a track record at Santos and Pachuca, bringing an attacking style and strong group management to the Aztecs. With the Apertura 2026 set to kick off on July 17, América’s preparations will now unfold on European soil.
