Hikers Find $300,000 Treasure in Czech Republic Forest

Two hikers will never forget their walk on the slopes of Zvičina hill in the Czech Republic, which turned into a fortune hunt. Upon digging up a heavy, rusty can, they discovered 598 gold coins arranged in 11 piles and wrapped in black cloth.

Just a few meters away, a small iron box contained 16 cigarette cases, 10 bracelets, and other valuable items. The artifacts have been transferred to the Museum of Eastern Bohemia for analysis to determine their origin.
