Izaia Perese Returns to Queensland Reds, Aiming for Super Rugby Cup

Izaia Perese, who burst onto the scene at Brisbane’s Ballymore and debuted for the Queensland Reds in 2017, left the franchise after injuries and stints abroad. After several seasons with other Australian clubs, he has re‑joined the Reds under the new head coach for the 2026 campaign.

Perese aims to help the side clinch the Super Rugby Cup while providing experience on both wings and mentoring younger players.
