Kinsey, Bassey Lead Warriors' 16-Point Comeback Win Over Squadron

The Santa Cruz Warriors rallied to overcome a 16-point second-half deficit and defeated the Birmingham Squadron 121-117 at Kaiser Permanente Arena on Wednesday night. Taevion Kinsey paced the Warriors with 27 points on 10-for-18 shooting, adding four rebounds and four assists.

Charles Bassey was a dominant force inside, recording a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Chance McMillian orchestrated the offense with 21 points and a team-high seven assists, while Marques Bolden provided a strong defensive presence with 17 points, seven rebounds and four blocks.

Jack Clark contributed nine points, hitting two crucial 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. Jaden Springer led all scorers with 28 points on 12-for-18 shooting for the Squadron, whose record fell to 10-18.

Birmingham had six players score in double figures, including Christian Shumate with 18 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
