Kylian Mbappé examines FIFA's new World Cup semifinal ball

During a training session, French captain Kylian Mbappé picked up the newly unveiled Trionda ball and spent several seconds scrutinising its design. The colour palette differed noticeably from the quarter‑final version, drawing his attention.

He then placed the ball on the pitch, taking a few shots to feel its touch. FIFA clarified that, despite the visual makeover, the ball’s aerodynamic and technical characteristics are identical to the previous model.
