Leganés Acquired by 885 Capital; Eduardo Cosín Named President

International investment firm 885 Capital has taken control of CD Leganés, now holding 99. 1% of the club’s shares.

Previously owning 14. 86%, the group now commands full ownership.

New president Eduardo Cosín outlined a strategy focused on sustainable growth and infrastructure upgrades as the club approaches its centenary. Investors will prioritize performance improvement, fan engagement and a data‑driven management approach.

Leganés aims to blend sporting success with community responsibility in this new era. The board also plans to strengthen ties with local supporters and refurbish stadium facilities.
