Liverpool Confirm Departure of Defender Ibrahima Konaté
Liverpool has officially announced that 27‑year‑old centre‑back Ibrahima Konaté will leave the club. Konaté joined from RB Leipzig in 2021 for €42 million and made 183 appearances over five seasons.
During his tenure he helped the Reds win two League Cups, an FA Cup, a Community Shield and a Premier League title. While contract extension rumors circulated early in the season, both player and club reached an agreement on his exit in recent weeks.
