Lorenzo Musetti withdraws from French Open with thigh injury
Italian tennis player Lorenzo Musetti announced he will miss the French Open after a thigh strain was diagnosed. The injury surfaced during his Italian Open loss to Casper Ruud, where he required on‑court treatment.
Medical examinations identified a rectus femoris strain that will need several weeks of rest. Musetti also ruled out participation in the upcoming Hamburg event.
He expressed disappointment on Instagram and said his focus will now be on recovery.
