Maialen Chourraut competes in Prague World Cup canoe final

Three-time Olympic medalist Maialen Chourraut reached the K1 final at the Prague World Cup but missed out on a podium finish there. The 43-year-old Spaniard finished fifth in the morning qualifiers to secure her spot in the decisive run.

Having won bronze in Slovenia the previous weekend, Chourraut could not replicate that form in Prague. Her run was not clean enough to challenge for the medals in the elite slalom event.
