Mark Cuban sues Dallas Mavericks owners over proposed arena deal
The Dallas Mavericks have undergone a major overhaul since their 2024 playoff exit. The February 2025 trade of Luka Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers shocked the league and reset the franchise’s direction.
Selecting Cooper Flagg with the 2025 first overall pick, the rookie earned the 2025‑26 Rookie of the Year award and led the team in points, rebounds, assists and steals. Now Mark Cuban has filed a lawsuit against the Mavericks’ ownership over a proposed arena agreement, a move that could affect future contracts and venue plans.
