Mexico Appoints Marquez as New Head Coach
Mexico has named Rafael Marquez as their new head coach, taking over the position previously held by Javier Aguirre. The former Barcelona centre-back was part of the coaching staff during the World Cup.
He helped the team reach the round of 16 in that tournament before stepping into the top role.
