Mora to remain at Tijuana until 18, Europe move awaits
Mexican midfielder Gilberto Mora rose to prominence during the 2026 World Cup, prompting interest from European clubs. FIFA regulations, however, prevent a player from moving abroad before turning 18, meaning his family would have to relocate.
Mora will turn 18 in October and will remain with Club Tijuana for the upcoming season. Owner Jorge Hank confirmed that a European transfer will be pursued once he reaches the age limit.
