Panthers lose Nic Scourton to ACL tear on first day of camp

Second‑year linebacker Nic Scourton was injured on the opening day of the Panthers' training camp. A complete tear of the ACL in his right knee will sideline him for the remainder of the season.

The injury occurred on Thursday and the medical staff began immediate treatment. The team will now have to adjust its defensive roster without Scourton.
