Paolo Maldini Appointed Technical Director of Italian Federation
Following Italy's failure to qualify for the World Cup, Paolo Maldini has returned to Italian football as the new technical director of the federation. The AC Milan legend accepted the proposal from President Giovanni Malagò to oversee the entire technical sector, including youth teams.
Leonardo, a former World Cup winner with Brazil, will serve as Maldini's advisor in this four-year project aimed at success at Euro 2024 and the 2030 World Cup.
