PSG Victory Sparks Paris Riots and 416 Arrests
France's Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez detailed the unrest that followed PSG's Champions League win. A total of 416 people were detained, with 283 arrests made in Paris.
Seven police officers were injured, including one serious traumatic brain injury in Agen. Clashes and looting spread across roughly fifteen cities, notably Rennes, Strasbourg, Clermont-Ferrand and Grenoble.
In Paris, over 20,000 fans gathered on the Champs-Élysées, creating the most intense disturbance. A section of the capital’s main ring road was temporarily blocked during the celebrations.
