Rangers Activate Seager, Langford Ahead of Guardians Opener

The Rangers activated both Corey Seager and Wyatt Langford from the injured list on Thursday. Seager recovered from a back strain and is expected to resume his regular duties at shortstop.

Langford, who dealt with a forearm issue, is now cleared to play in the outfield. The moves bolster the roster ahead of the opening game against the Cleveland Guardians.

Management hopes the added depth will help Texas contend for a playoff spot this season.
