Real Oviedo signs Pablo Sáenz as first signing of the season
Real Oviedo has reinforced its squad following the departure of head coach Guillermo Almada. The club announced a two‑year contract with right‑winger Pablo Sáenz as its first acquisition of the campaign.
Sáenz progressed through the Calahorra youth system, spent a season with Granada's B team and was loaned to Albacete for the 2024‑25 season. In his last campaign he featured in 36 matches, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
The signing is seen as a key addition in Oviedo's push to return to the top flight.
