Renfe strike on July 15 2026 – affected services and minimum trains

Renfe has announced a strike for July 15 2026 that will disrupt train operations across Spain. Commuter (Cercanías) services will operate at 75% capacity during peak periods and 50% during off‑peak hours.

Medium‑distance routes will run at roughly 66% of the normal schedule, while high‑speed and long‑distance services will maintain about 73% of their usual frequency, amounting to 426 trains out of 650. Passengers are advised to check timetables and plan alternative travel.
