Royals Place Vinnie Pasquantino on 10-Day IL Due to Wrist Injury

Vinnie Pasquantino was batting. 232 with six home runs when the Royals announced his placement on the 10‑day injured list.

The right‑handed first baseman complained of wrist soreness after a routine practice session. Manager Mike Matheny expects Pasquantino to recover fully and return to the lineup soon.

In his absence, the Royals will look to other hitters to fill the offensive gap.
