Rueben Chinyelu Withdraws from NBA Draft, Returns to Florida
Florida center Rueben Chinyelu announced his withdrawal from the NBA draft and his intention to return for his senior year with the Gators. After participating in pre‑draft workouts, he chose to rejoin the roster for another campaign.
Chinyelu will partner again with frontcourt teammates Alex Condon and Thomas Haugh to bolster the team’s interior play. Coach Todd Golden projects the program’s payroll for the 2026‑27 season at roughly $25 million.
