SD Huesca signs experienced centre‑back Quique Fornos from Cultural Leonesa

SD Huesca announced the acquisition of Quique Fornos on a two‑year deal, adding a defender with nearly 200 matches in Spain’s lower divisions and recent Segunda experience to bolster their back line. Fornos featured in 14 games last season and has accumulated close to 200 appearances across Primera RFEF and Segunda B.

The Galician centre‑back began his career in Deportivo de La Coruña’s youth system, later captaining Cultural Leonesa and earning promotion to the Segunda División. Huesca aims to shore up its defensive stability and sees Fornos’s leadership as key to achieving its upcoming season objectives.

The contract runs until 2028, and the player is expected to integrate quickly with the squad.
