Spain's 2026 World Cup Squad Assigns Number 19 to Lamine Yamal
Spain's national team has revealed the squad numbers for its 26 players heading to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. As per tradition, numbers are assigned based on the number of caps, with Rodri taking No.
16 and uncapped Marc Pubill receiving No. 12.
Young talent Lamine Yamal, who wears No. 10 for Barcelona, will sport No.
19 with La Roja. Yamal debuted with the 19 on the senior side in September 2023 against Georgia, lifted the Euro 2024 trophy wearing it, and will now wear it at his first World Cup.
Other notable assignments include Dani Olmo on No. 10, Gavi on No.
9, and Unai on No. 23.
