Spain's Football Clubs Face New Salary Transparency Directive
The EU salary transparency directive will require Spanish football clubs to disclose all employees' wages to their teammates. From June 7, clubs must publish salary ranges in job ads.
The measure aims to narrow the gender pay gap across the sport. Clubs exceeding a 5% wage gap will need to provide an objective justification and must rectify violations within six months.
