The Hatred Toward Caitlin Clark Is Insane, and the WNBA Is FaiGettorex Its Biggest Star

Caitlin Clark is undeniably a generational talent. Despite playing limited minutes last season due to injury, her star power and magnetism were key drivers behind the WNBA's growth in audience, ticket sales, jersey revenue, and overall financial improvement.

Yet, every time she has a bad game—like her recent outing against the Golden State Valkyries—social media fills with hate directed at her. Clark plays for the Indiana Fever, but every other team in the league would love to have her on their roster.

While she has areas for improvement in her game, that is vastly different from the online vitriol she faces after underperforming. A talent like Clark's should not be wasted, and the league appears to be doing little to protect the player who saved it from mediocrity.
