Timberwolves acquire LaMelo Ball, Josh Green in blockbuster trade
Minnesota acquired LaMelo Ball and Josh Green in a massive four‑team trade that also involved the Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls. In return, the Timberwolves gave up Naz Reid, Julius Randle, a 2033 first‑round draft pick, three future second‑round picks and three future first‑round pick swaps, plus the rights to Joshua Jefferson.
The franchise hopes Ball’s playmaking will push them deeper into the postseason, while the new pieces are expected to reshape the roster.
