Tourist injured after bison tosses them 8 feet at Yellowstone
A visitor at Yellowstone National Park suffered serious injuries on July 12 after approaching a bison for a photograph. The animal charged and tossed the man approximately 8 feet into the air.
Park officials reiterated the importance of maintaining a safe distance, noting bison can run up to 35 mph and are unpredictable.
