USHL Announces Expansion with Tier‑1 Junior Teams in the Southwest
The United States Hockey League is set to add Tier 1 Junior teams in California, Nevada and Arizona as part of its growth plan. The expansion will broaden the pool of young talent and create new development pathways in the Southwest.
Establishing these franchises could also spur upgrades to existing arena facilities in the region. League officials say the move will raise the overall level of competition and attract a larger fan base.
The new clubs are slated to join the schedule for the upcoming season.
