VA Benefits Rise in 2026: Updated Compensation for Veterans
Veterans receiving disability compensation will see higher monthly payments after a 2. 8% cost‑of‑living adjustment.
The increase applies to disability compensation, total disability based on unemployability, special monthly compensation and other benefit categories. Rates took effect on December 1, 2025, and are already reflected in 2026 disbursements.
This is not a one‑time bonus but a permanent adjustment to the regular payment schedule.
