Villarreal spots Logan Costa and Willy Kambwala in preseason training

Villarreal’s summer camp focused on reinforcing the back line as two former injured centre‑backs rejoined the squad. Logan Costa, who featured for Cape Verde at the World Cup, completed his rehabilitation and was cleared to train.

Willy Kambwala, after a severe knee injury that sidelined him for most of the previous campaign, also returned to full training. Coach Iñigo Pérez expressed confidence that their experience will boost the team’s defensive solidity ahead of the new season.
