Barcelona Regains Its Power in the Transfer Market

Barcelona completed the signing of Anthony Gordon for 70 million euros plus 10 million in add-ons and is also determined to bring in Atlético Madrid star Julián Alvarez, who would cost no less than 150 million euros. The Catalan club is once again competing head-to-head with Europe's elite in the transfer market.

Although Barcelona has not yet fully regained LaLiga's 1:1 financial fair play rule, it expects to do so before June 30. The regulation allows the club to spend on new registrations an amount equal to its income.
