Super League side Gençlerbirliği defeated MKE Ankaragücü 2-1 in the final of the Azem İnşaat 58th Turkish Sports Writers Association (TSYD) Ankara Cup to lift the trophy. Gençlerbirliği opened the scoring in the match and managed to hold on despite Ankaragücü's equaliser in the second half.
